To get bring the benefits of local clean energy to every community across the state, there's a lot of work to do.

Here Are Some of the Near-Term Priorities of the My Generation Campaign:

1. Clean Energy Cash Back Programs

   Californians should be able to earn money from the sunshine that falls on their roofs and the wind that blows on their land. Sometimes referred to as a "feed-in-tariff," these programs enable customers to sell power back to their utility and get cash back for the power produced.

Already, Local Clean Energy has made major contributions to California's electricity demand and saved billions of dollars for our state. Yet local clean energy generation is just getting started and has enormous untapped potential. The My Generation Campaign will support local clean energy development by promoting cost effective incentives and removing obstacles to local clean energy through new policies to increase the use of local clean-energy.
