Quick access to stories, quotes, graphs

Posted on January 29, 2014

Greetings Friends and Colleagues,

There are so many developments nowadays that tell the story of the shift away from coal and the rise of renewables, from financial giants fleeing coal export investments to utility giants picking wind and solar beating out natural gas. If you’re like us, good intentions to bookmark and save these info-nuggets often fall by the wayside, and you’re left wondering how to quickly and easily put your hands on the stories, quotes or graphs you saw a week or a month ago, when you need them now for a letter, column, talking points, release, online post or other communication?

To help with just that task, Resource Media is launching Energy Trend Tracker, an easy-to-use page that serves as a one-stop spot to grab the greatest hits on clean energy and coal, with the most recent developments always at the top. Bookmark it and also follow @RMEnergyTracker.

Please feel free to email my colleagues Eric and Jeff with items you come across that should be considered for the Tracker, (note the page isn’t designed as a comprehensive clearinghouse, but rather a 'best of’ list). To keep it quick and simple, the Energy Trend Tracker will feature a select set of the strongest developments that help tell the transition story in side-by-side columns for coal and clean energy.

We hope you’ll find this new resource useful in your work – and we’ll keep in touch with periodic emails to flag new items in the Tracker. Let us know if the Tracker is helpful to you, and if you have suggestions for how it could serve you better.

We look forward to sharing tons of great news on the coal-to-clean-energy transition.
