Perched above the Chiricahua Desert in southeastern Arizona is a diverse forested sky island. We'll hang out with coatimundi, fox squirrels, and Hercules beetles while repairing trail erosion and clearing blow-downs.

Celebrate the 100th anniversary of the National Park Service in the heart of the largest park in the States. We'll learn to packraft and embark on a variety of day hikes featuring mountains, valleys, glaciers, and wildlife.

This Spring, Military Outdoors will provide scholarships for veterans as well as those in the Guard and Reserve who are interested in pursuing possible seasonal employment as a raft guide. No experience necessary.
Volunteer Leader Training
Wilderness First Responder Recertification at Clair Tappaan Lodge in Norden, CA, Apr 30–May 2, 2016.
This is a 24-hour Wilderness First Responder Recertification course for current Wilderness First Responders (WFR) who need to recertify and refresh their skills. This class will provide three full days of review and scenarios and will be taught by Bobbie Foster, of Foster Calm -First Aid and Leadership Trainings.
