Alison Leonard

Trip leader Alison Leonard

Alison loves being a Trip Leader with the Sierra Club!

Alison was an Academic Librarian before becoming a Park Ranger with the National Park Service. She has worked at Nez Perce National Historical Park in Idaho, and at Acadia National Park in Maine. She has performed service work to build trails with the Sierra Club, the Appalachian Mountain Club, and Maine Conservation Corps. One summer, she volunteered at the Sierra Clubs’ Clair Tappaan Lodge.

Her personal interests are swimming, hiking, biking, reading, traveling, and hanging out with her husband, Scott.  She has visited over 90 national parks sites. She has run into bears on the trail but thankfully no mountain lions.
