Allison Rieck lives in Boston, MA and has traveled to all 50 states, hiking and camping in most, and has visited over half of the national parks. She has volunteered with Sierra Club’s Boston chapter of Inspiring Connections Outdoors (ICO) since 2010. In 2016, Allison brought three teens from Boston ICO on their first Sierra Club Service trip. The combination of rewarding hard work, good people, and the wilderness motivated Allison to play a bigger part in Sierra Club Service trips. This led her to become a certified leader where she enjoys working alongside participants of all ages.
