Amy Kristofferson's backpacking experience stretches back to her teen years, when Sierra Club outings were the highlight of her summer breaks. To this day, nothing gives her more joy than cresting a pass or plunging into a freezing alpine lake and warming up again on sun-soaked granite. Passionate about biology education and women's empowerment, she leads Customer Experience for a suite of mobile apps for women's reproductive health. When left to her own devices, she can be found roaming around Big Sur or eating all the samples at her local farmers market.
