Andrea Katz has been an avid backpacker, bicyclist, kayaker, and general outdoors person her entire life. She has hiked or backpacked in numerous national parks, and the Dolomites of northern Italy. She has bicycled on extended trips on the U.S. coasts and in Western Europe. Andrea is an Exercise Physiologist, was a fellow at the U.S. Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs, and was certified as a Strength and Conditioning Specialist. Andrea has a doctorate in Physical Therapy and is the clinical director of a physical therapy clinic in Richmond, Virginia. Andrea is certified in Wilderness First Aid and CPR.
