Andy Moss has led Sierra Club trips primarily in the White Mountains of New Hampshire, the Sierra Nevada mountains of California and the Catskill Mountains of New York. He enjoys the adventure of wilderness hiking as well as the freedom of biking and paddling. Andy took on a Catskill Mountains challenge near his home by summiting all 35 mountains that are above 3500' … in both winter and summer. He was also the local Outings Chair for the Mid-Hudson Group of the Sierra Club. During that time he led hundreds of local Sierra Club hikes throughout the Hudson Valley region. Andy loves to introduce people to wilderness areas and share his appreciation of the natural world with trip participants.
He is a retired graphic designer but continues his part-time career as a pianist/singer. He also enjoys spending time in his woodworking shop as well as maintaining his early 19th-century home which is surrounded by historic bluestone quarries. He lives with his wife Florence in Ruby, New York.
