Angel Sosa Santiago

Angel Sosa, a Puerto Rico native, has led outings in Puerto Rico for over eight years, including service trips, always leading his group to beautiful places. He participates in campaigns to protect the karst region against a natural gas pipeline that the government tried to build from the south to the north part of the island. Angel joined the Sierra Club in 1997, is a founding chapter member. Served as treasurer, newsletter editor, and chapter chair for three years. He participated in more than seven national outings. He is retired from the University of Puerto Rico after teaching Industrial Engineering courses.
