Anne Rowe’s passion is traveling and outdoor and cultural activities especially around water and mountains. As a sailor, skier, and hiker, she has visited many places in the world, including wilderness in the southwestern and western U.S.; Europe; Alaska; the Bahamas; British Virgin, Channel, Galapagos, Kodiak, San Juan, and Vancouver islands; Belize; Costa Rica; British Columbia; Italy and Vietnam. Anne joined the Sierra Club as a teenager in 1974 and considers its outings to have provided some of the happiest and most meaningful life experiences. Currently she practices law, volunteers for the Sierra Club, and looks forward to her next adventure with fun, happy, fit friends.
