Arian Pregenzer has been backpacking for more than 50 years in California’s High Sierra, the Cascades of Oregon and Washington, and the Rocky Mountains of Colorado and New Mexico. A retired physicist, she lives in Albuquerque, NM at the base of the Sandia Mountains, where she is a long-time advocate and volunteer for wilderness. She is certified as a Wilderness First Responder.
