Brian Holmlund has backpacked in Alaska multiple times and has experienced the beauty of the Arctic North Slope. He also has extensive experience portaging and backpacking in the Boundary Waters in Minnesota and loves to lead backpacking trips locally in Iowa, where he was born and raised. While Healthcare IT is his field of work, the outdoors are his passion.
