Cara Wilson

Cara Wilson has been leading Sierra Club service trips since 2009. She enjoys the “behind the scenes” experience one gets by working on projects with a park agency. Getting your hands dirty makes you appreciate an area in a new perspective. Cara lives in Monterey and most of her trips have been in California. Cara is a satellite oceanographer who works for NOAA (National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration) and she enjoys the opportunity to share her knowledge of the oceans with fellow Sierra Club members during her trips. In her free time she enjoys trail running (in Fort Ord National Monument) and gardening.
