Carol Armstrong is an avid hiker and traveler and now that her family is grown, she has found time again to pursue this passion! In the last 10 years she's hiked and backpacked in the Sierra Nevada and enjoyed day hikes in her native San Francisco Bay area. She's also hiked throughout Italy and the travel bug has taken her throughout Europe, Africa, Canada, Southeast Asia, Australia, the U.S. and Peru. She's the mother of three adult sons and is an avid reader and lifelong learner. Carol is a Wilderness First Responder and Certified Yoga Instructor.
