Having lived in Latin America during her formative years, Carol Marty enjoys sharing her appreciation of all cultures and the outdoors with others, in the hope that we can all be responsible global citizens. She is at home engaging with trip members in outdoor activities including hiking, kayaking and snorkeling. Carol has led Sierra Club national and international outings since 2001 and has traveled extensively nationally and internationally.
Carol lives in Asheville, North Carolina, where she is working in community with others towards a more equitable, just, and inclusive society. Carol welcomes people of all races, ethnicities, and gender & sexual identities to her trips.
