Chris enjoys hiking, backpacking, climbing, and skiing the Sierra Nevada. He has experience teaching outdoor first aid and avalanche safety. Chris volunteers at Land Trusts and habitat restoration nonprofits. He likes to hear and share hopeful stories about addressing environmental challenges at a local level. He is a retired engineer from the pollution control and energy industries. Chris and his wife live in Northern California.
