Claire Kooperman discovered her passion for backpacking and exploring when she moved to Southern California and joined the San Diego Sierra Club chapter. Exploring the Sierra and Southwestern deserts inspired her to become an outings leader. Her first Sierra Club National Outing was an unforgettable adventure through Wyoming’s Wind River Range. When not out on an adventure, Claire enjoys spending time with her family and puppy.
