Cristina Breen trained as a river guide in 1996 and has been rafting and kayaking rivers in the West and Alaska ever since. She is a Wilderness First Responder and leads hiking and multi-sport trips in addition to water trips of all kinds. A licensed contractor, garden designer, and bee keeper in the San Francisco Bay Area, she enjoys exploring wild coastlines, beachcombing, hiking, and making things from clay. She dreams of seeing a wolverine loping across an untamed landscape of mountains and rivers. She has a passion for rocks, music, fossils, books, mollusks, maps, birds, succulents, wolverines, and wild places.
