David Baron has spent most of his professional career at the intersection of media and technology, but his outlet has always been the outdoors. He considers the Eastern Sierra his backyard, having spent much of his free time backpacking, skiing, fly fishing, hiking, and mountain biking in and around Mammoth Lakes, CA and the JMT with his family. He is also an advanced SCUBA diver and recently completed a coral reef conservation trip in Belize. He participated in his first Sierra Club Service Trip in 2018 and had such a great experience helping to maintain our wild, outdoor spaces that he is now excited to become a trip leader himself.
