David Torraca, currently residing in the Washington DC area, grew up in New York State. He is an Adirondack forty-sixer and completed a thru-hike of the Appalachian Trail in 2019. He has been active with Sierra Club for a number of years, leading hikes in the Washington DC region. He is a master gardener in Virginia and cares deeply about conserving the precious natural environment, educating others on current environmental issues, and sharing the beauty of nature.
