Delphine Dahan was born in France but has lived in the U.S. over many years, and in Philadelphia since 2003. She discovered the beauty of nature and the pure joy it brings during her first backpacking adventure, in the Sierras of Northern California. She took her first trip with the Sierra Club as a participant in 2017, which introduced her to the advocacy mission of the organization. She decided to join the leadership team based on the belief that outdoors trips are an effective way to get more people engaged in nature, and aware of the challenges of preserving and caring for the environment.
