After spending 35 years in the high tech industry, Fuad retired. He enjoys hiking, backpacking, mountain climbing and trail running with his wife, family and friends. With more free time after retirement, he decided to lead outings with the Sierra Club. Since 2015, Fuad led several Sierra Club outings to the Sierra Nevada, went on a private, 6 day trip to climb Mount Whitney via Guitar lake. Hiked the Salkantay Trail in Peru, while there he visited Machu Picchu. In 2014 Fuad participated in a Sierra Club international outing to Tanzania, where he climbed Kilimanjaro and spent 6 days on a Safari trip.
