Janice Birnbaum has hiked and backpacked in the northeast for many years and has led local and national trips in this area and Canada. She has a special love for service trips, because they combine service, friendship, and natural places. She is an organic gardener and master composter, and she loves to share her passions for the outdoors and enjoyment of the bounty of locally grown and harvested food with friends, old and new. She is certified in WFA and CPR.
