Jay Anderson is a retired engineering executive and life-long outdoor enthusiast. Some of Jay’s earliest memories are family backpacking trips to the tundra of Montana’s Beartooth Plateau where tiny flowers bloom and pikas whistle. His family’s passion for sharing the natural world with others rubbed off on Jay. He particularly enjoys helping people complete trips that take them a bit beyond their comfort zone. Jay has been exploring Alaska since 1995 and leading trips since 2006. His experiences include backpacking, mountain biking, sea kayaking, fishing, and cross-country skiing in many regions of the state.
