Jay Margalus, Mokena, IL, has a strong commitment that we all have a responsibility to help others appreciate nature. His first significant outdoors experience was a seven-day Sierra Club backpack, which was his honeymoon. He is a computer scientist and designer with a focus in emerging technologies. He is the Faculty Director at DePaul University's Idea Realization Lab, and a teacher in DePaul's School of Design.
