Jeannie Sivertsen has been backpacking in the Sierra Nevada for over 25 years. She especially enjoys the High Country with its remote lakes and glacier-swept valleys. Her first Sierra Club Outing was more than two decades ago and has inspired a deep appreciation for wilderness conservation. Her passion for the Sierra Nevada -- her home -- has led Jeannie to become more involved with the Sierra Club so that others may experience the beauty in nature that connects us to ourselves and to others. Jeannie is a certified Wilderness First Responder.
