Jeff Fox’s love of the outdoors originated with hiking, camping, backpacking, swimming, canoeing, kayaking and bicycling with his family or Boy Scout troop exploring the Midwest and eastern USA, Canada and the Bahamas. Jeff moved to California in the early 1980s, where he continued his outdoor explorations in the mountain ranges of central and southern California, along with international locations including New Zealand, Austria, Germany and Greece. Jeff is an enthusiastic advocate of the benefits and joys of hiking and backpacking and derives great pleasure in sharing his passion with others. Jeff is a certified Wilderness First Responder and a graduate of the Sierra Club Angeles Chapter Wilderness Travel Class (WTC).
