Jennifer Cost is an avid hiker and backpacker and is happiest being outside, sharing wild places with other nature lovers. She has backpacked in the Eastern Sierra, Yosemite, Kings Canyon, Wyoming, Montana, and other places in the Southwest. She lives in San Diego where she does a great deal of winter and spring cross-country hiking in the Anza Borrego Desert and Joshua Tree.
