John Cole has assisted Sierra Club hikes since 1996. He was a seasonal park ranger in Rocky Mountain National Park for 12 years and has knowledge of the hiking trails, scenic, geological, flora and fauna of the Rocky Mountains. John is a retired educator who taught science, history, and was also a school administrator. In retirement John travels frequently to Colorado or other western states to visit as many National Parks as possible.
