John Peterson has led or participated in national outings in the canyons of Utah, the lakes of North Carolina, the beaches of Hawaii, and the mountains of California. Having previously lived in the mountains of Colorado, John is an avid hiker, skier, and traveler. He is a member of the California Alpine Club, a hiking and skiing club in Northern California.
He volunteers at both the Sundance and Telluride Film Festivals, enjoying creative arts in pristine locations. John has been certified in Wilderness First Aid and lives with his family in northern California.
