Kimberly Adams

Kimberly Adams infinitely pursues improving her outdoor skill instruction, safety, and leadership skills to foster love of nature for everyone. New to the Sierra Club through the Outdoors for All program, she has attended multiple training and interactive sessions locally. This is Kimberly’s first National Outing trip.

Kimberly is certified with the Professional Ski Instructors of America as an L1 Alpine instructor and Children’s Specialist in conjunction with seasonal winter employment at a local ski resort.  She is certified through the American Canoe Association as an L2 flat water kayaking instructor with a local outfitter. She has also completed hiking trail marathons, hikes locally, and enjoys camping.

When she is not on a trail, body of water, or mountain, she works as a Cognitive Behavior Therapist and is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. 

Raised in Colorado, Kimberly now resides in Pennsylvania with her two children entering early adulthood and a bevy of pets.
