Leanora Kovacs is a retired lawyer who went to law school in her late 30s partly because she wanted to find ways to help protect wilderness. She is an avid kayaker, a devoted but beginner gardener, and she loves spending time training and hiking with her golden retrievers. Leanora has led over 20 trips and received an Outstanding Leader award twice. Past participants have appreciated her humor, extensive preparation, and attentiveness to individual and group needs. Leanora feels blessed to live in New York's beautiful Hudson River Valley.
