Madeleine Sadka Zember

Madeleine Sadka Zember joined the Sierra Club following a trip to the Galapagos Islands in 2002. Madeleine has been a co-leader and an assistant leader in Sierra Club family trips to the Adirondacks, Maine and Cape Cod. She was also a leader-trainee on a Florida Everglades to Coral Reef Sierra trip. Madeleine led hikes while working as a nature specialist in sleep-away camps. She works as a librarian and as a special education teacher. During the summers, she escorts multi-days camp trips. She volunteers in Camp Sunshine in Maine, a camp for children with life-threatening diseases, and as a crew for the Waterfront Center in Oyster Bay, NY. Madeleine lives on Long Island, New York.
