Margaret Klose's passion is hiking, and her adventures have taken her to all corners of the US, including Alaska and Hawaii. She dreams of thru-hiking the Pacific Crest Trail. Margaret's connection with the natural world was passed down from her father. Nothing was ever wasted or taken for granted. Margaret has served on the board of directors of a nature preserve for over 20 years and has a degree in environmental sciences. She volunteers as a leader for a community garden and is an avid photographer, always willing to share her knowledge and learn from others. Along with a couple of parrots, Margaret has lived most of her life in small-town Wisconsin.
