Marit Anderson will be leader on this trip. She is presently a massage therapist and ski instructor after a 20-year career as an early childhood teacher. She is an active backpacker, cyclist, trail runner, and skier. She volunteers with the Potomac Appalachian Trail Club as a hike leader, trail maintainer, and hiker hostel host. She is also active with Wintergreen Adaptive Sports helping those with disabilities to ski and paddle, as well as being a member of Altrusa International in Charlottesville, VA doing service projects for the community. She has led this trip two times, and assisted one time.
