Melissa LeSage is an avid backpacker who has backpacked extensively, mostly in Kansas, Missouri and Arkansas as well as Isle Royale National Park, Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore, the Superior Hiking Trail and Whistler BC. During the summer when not backpacking, Melissa can be found riding her bike or kayaking the local lakes and rivers. Melissa is active in the Missouri Thomas Hart Benton Group of the Missouri Chapter where she leads many local outings. She is certified in Wilderness First Aid and CPR through Stonehearth Open Learning Opportunities (SOLO). When not on the trail or on the water, Melissa like to read and travel, especially to Asia.
