Michael Bucci has lived in suburban Maryland all his life and first saw mountains without trees in 1982 during an outdoor leadership course in the Big Horn Mountains of Wyoming. He fell deeply in love with the outdoors and has participated in service trips most years since then, including the Sierra Nevada, Chaco Canyon, Carrizo Plains, and Isle Royale. Mike has also worked with high school students overcoming substance abuse issues in a school with an extensive outdoor adventure program. He recently climbed Mt. Kilimanjaro with his two children.
