Mike Wise participated on several Sierra Club Trips into the Grand Canyon, which inspired him to become a Sierra Club Trip Leader completing the Sierra Club National Outings Training in 2010. He looks forward to the reward of helping others experience the same joys of backpacking he experienced and the importance of preserving our wilderness areas. Mike is from Michigan and is certified as a Wilderness First Responder (WFR).
