Mike Bolar went on his first Sierra Club National Outing in 1994 and has been hiking and backpacking in the western United States for the past 20 years. Mike has been leading trips for the Sierra Club since 2010 in both the Sierra and the Grand Canyon. Mike enjoys spending time with his wife and three daughters, reading, adventuring in the outdoors and introducing others to wild places. Mike is certified as a Wilderness First Responder.
