Monica Ranes is a freelance TV commercial producer. She recently moved from Portland, OR to Salida, CO where she has taken up mountain biking and is loving small mountain town life. Monica is a recent graduate of the Sierra Club's national leadership training program and has been certified as a Wilderness First Responder. In addition to backpacking & hiking, Monica enjoys cooking, yoga/Pilates, dance parties, making pottery, international travel, cinema and learning new skills.
