Pamela Pinder

Pamela Pinder is originally from the San Francisco Bay Area and now lives in South Florida. She graduated from Florida Atlantic University with a degree in Finance. She is a mother of 4 children and have been married for 26 years. She has 2 children in college and 2 at home.

Pamela started backpacking with her father in the Sierra Nevada when she was 9 years old in the 1970s. She has been an member of the Sierra Club since the early 1970s. 

She was re-introduced to backpacking years later and have never looked back since. She has hiked the Inca Trail and Rainbow Mountain in Peru, the John Muir Trail, a section of the PCT in Washington, the Trans Catalina Trail, Grand Canyon R2R2R, Havasupai, the Tour Du Mont Blanc, and the Wonderland Trail. She is a member of Florida Trail Association and has backpacked the Ocean to Lake (twice), the Suwannee River, and the Ocala Forest. 

Pamela loves being outdoors. Her interests include photography, backpacking, tennis, paddle boarding, scuba diving, kayaking and cooking. Pamela loves to travel and has quite a long bucket list of places she would love to see.
