Paul Gross started leading National Outings in 2003 and internationally in 2014. He is a cycling and backpacking vegetarian living in harmony with his surroundings. Paul consummated his connection with nature during a decade of building his Ozark homestead in the 70s. When not trekking with his dog Sandy, he can be found in his garden, experimenting in the kitchen or dehydrating meals for his next trip. His perfect trip includes hiking all day in the mountains or canyons, and ballroom dancing all night with Melody. Working with his hands and creating continues as a lifelong passion. Providing fellow adventures the safety to experience the wonders of nature is especially rewarding. Paul maintains a Wilderness First Responder Certification.
