Penny Edyvean
Penny Edyvean is a lifelong learner and teacher. She taught elementary school for 26 years. During those years, she taught in three states, three grade levels, and two specialized programs as well as raised two daughters. Her second career was as a Naturalist for Mueller State Park in Divide, Colorado. As part of her job for Mueller, she led hikes, developed and presented programs on the flora and fauna of the montane life zone and organized volunteers for the Park. She has a passion for the preservation of nature and enjoys teaching others about its natural wonders. Penny loves to cook, hike, snowshoe, travel and participate in service and mission trips. She is delighted to be training to lead and cook for Sierra Club service outings.
