Renee Rivera was born and raised in Northern California just south of San Francisco. Although she spent some time in Lake Tahoe and Yosemite growing up, her real love of the Sierra Nevada began after college. Renee has been hiking and backpacking in the Sierra Nevada and other parts of the world for over 20 years. Renee is also an avid landscape photographer, including night photography, and is happy to share her knowledge of photography with others.
