Rich Radford is a former U.S. Navy diver who is equally at home at the bottom of the ocean, in a raging river or on top of a mountain. The therapeutic value of spending time outdoors drives him. His outdoor interests include spending time on the trail with Speck, who is a backpacking Catahoula/Doberman mixed breed dog. He is Leave No Trace Trainer educated and a swift water rescue technician. Professionally, he is a landscape architect working in environmental planning for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.
