Rick Self leads adventure travel in the spectacular off-trail backcountry of the Sierra, the Rockies, and Red Rock canyons in boots, skis, and watercraft. He is inspired by the camaraderie of sauntering through beautiful, wild and pristine places with kindred spirits. He also enjoys outdoor photography, gardening, and tennis. A Master Naturalist, Rick incorporates natural & cultural history on his trips. He is a certified Wilderness First Responder and lives in Charleston, SC.
