Sandy Chilton is from Cochrane, Alberta, Canada and has been a Sierra Club member since 2009. Growing up next to the Canadian Rockies, Sandy has spent most of her spare time hiking, backpacking and snowshoeing there. She became inspired to become a Sierra Club leader after enjoying several Sierra Club backpacking trips and has hiked and backpacked extensively throughout the western United States. She is particularly drawn to the remote wilderness areas of Wyoming and Montana and enjoys exploring and sharing these special places with Sierra Club members who might not otherwise venture out on their own. Sandy is a certified Wilderness First Responder.
