Sarah Angulo went on her first backpacking trip before starting college in 2010 and has been hooked ever since. As a fifth generation Californian, her first and best love is the Sierra Nevada. Since her first trip, she has explored these mountains extensively, eventually becoming a volunteer for Sierra Club Outings in 2012. On her own time she keeps up her Wilderness First Responder through organizing personal mountaineering trips. In the off season, she studies natural history and continues utilizing leadership skills working in outdoor education.
