Since childhood, Sergio deRada has traveled the world in search of adventure and exploration. Born in the Andean mountains of South America, the mountains are his element and his joy. Sergio has been sharing his adoration of wilderness with friends and family for many years, with the National Parks and public lands being an intricate part of his life. As a Sierra Club Life Member and Outings Leader, he extends his passion for the outdoors so more people can enjoy, explore, and protect this wonderful planet. He lives in Slidell, Louisiana, and along with his wife Sue, takes absolutely every opportunity to get outdoors.
