Shlomo Waser was born in Israel but has spent most of his adult life in the USA. Currently, he lives in the San Francisco Bay Area, which has been his base to travel to many countries and mountains around the globe. He is a volunteer leader of domestic and international trips. He is very passionate about protection of nature and wilderness and is a life member in the Sierra Club and is active in many outdoor activities such as hiking, mountain climbing, trekking, trail running, and snowshoeing. He loves to share his enthusiasm for nature and its beauty with other participants, and enjoys getting to know new people on these trips.
